Description
This winterizing cap fits all classic series ultraviolet units by Aqua Ultraviolet. This includes; 8 watt, 15 watt, 25 watt, 40 watt, 57 watt, 80 watt, 120 watt, 160 watt, 200 watt, and 240 watt units.
Note the cap is black in color.
Use Caution: Always unplug the unit from electricity before disconnecting or installing any parts, or before cleaning.
If you are going to continually run water through your pond during freezing temperatures be sure to take all the internal parts inside (Quartz Sleeve, Transformer and Lamp). Place the winterizing cap on the unit as shown in the drawing.
If you are not flowing water through your system and have a winterized cap drain the unit completely and remove the internal parts and take them inside. If the unit is not completely drained the water will freeze and crack the housing. This is not covered under warranty.
